Dear Brand,

I’m Hunter, a skier, product designer, and artist from Aspen, Colorado.

I’m reaching out to you in the hopes of collaboration and partnership with our upcoming film.

Titled Kvikk Lunsj, began last spring when we first climbed in the Lyngen Alps, Norway. We sought out these lines because of their precipitous grades, unforgiving exposure, and unyielding ascents, all painted by the backdrop of the Arctic Ocean. On our first trip, we set out to ski seven major couloirs in the zone, and in the end, we completed five. We carried a small video camera and several film cameras. During the trip, we produced film prints, digital prints, 3D art based on the lines skied, and over three hours of cinema-quality video. While the content is visually striking, the story has yet to be settled. So, we are returning, in April of this year. Our goal is to create a short film that highlights the story of how an unassuming love for the mountains and the outdoors has created a friendship and keeps it alive as we live our own independent lives far from one another.  Along with the film, we hope to produce a short-form magazine from the trip.

We are reaching out to you because; while this project is only the latest in our series of adventures, that has continued to bring us together through a shared loved of a reckless ambition to go further and love and desire to explore this place we all call home. Now we will travel with the intention of making art and bringing this love and ambition forward through our creativity, gigabytes of digital photography, film photography, and cinema-grade video. -Ideally outdoor, adventure, a desire to go beyond, breaking the mold of normativity à cliché but it is what most brands strive for (especially fashion/outerwear)

We want you to be a part of this story. Your aid in the form of (Gear, Nutrition, and physical things) will give us the ability to truly and properly broadcast those things that we have lost touch of in this digital world. What it means to go beyond, to step outside your comfort zone, to explore places unknown and in doing so understand who we are and what this place is that we call home.

As someone who has built their life around passion projects like this, Kvikk Lunsj has been all-consuming and each of us is dedicated to making it truly spectacular. We are coming out of the other side with something that is life-defining for us. We look forward to hearing about your involvement.
